Specialising in Health and Safety, Regulatory Law, and Professional Disciplinary matters. Ros qualified in 1993 having studied Law at Manchester University. She regularly appears not only on the Northern Circuit, but in Courts and Tribunals nationwide and in Northern Ireland, where she is fully qualified.
Ros has a background in criminal law; appointed as a Grade 4 Prosecutor and Rape Panel Member, she is an experienced advocacy and contested hearings barrister. In 2010 she was appointed as a Legal Assessor to the Medical Practitioner Tribunal Service and she advises Tribunals considering misconduct, performance and fitness to practise issues regarding Doctors. As a specialist Regulatory lawyer, Ros is a List B Advocate in Health and Safety and Environmental Law and she frequently prosecutes on behalf of the Health and Safety Executive, the Environment Agency and Local Authorities.
